In this photoshop tutorial i will try to create a beautifull doll from a real girl. First i want to say that i am not a professional and that this tutorial can be made by almost everyone.
Lets begin!
My inspiration image was this:

Blonde girl

Because the image was too small i ‘ve scale it ; almost double the size.
I’ve started with the eyes…we all know that a doll has beautifull big eyes.
We have to lift the eyebrows…select them and move them with Move tool a little higher. Now select one eye at a time and scale it until u obtain something like this

Go to Filter - Liquify.. from the left toolbar choose Forward warp tool and ajust the shape of the eye until you obtain the shape that you like…I’ve used Brush Size 37, Brush density 9 and Brush Pressure 31.

Liquify eyes

Liquify face
We have now a face with a lot of cuts but dont worry we will fix it. Pick the Clone Stamp Tool(S) from the left toolbar and start cloneing parts of the skin in the white areas….you have to be very patient to obtain a good result.

Cloning skin
Choose Spot Healing Brush Tool (J) and fix the skin…easy heal all the areas that you cloned and than pick Blur Tool(R) Strenght 50 % to make a soft skin…be careful to blur only the skin(not the eyes, mouth), be careful when you blur the nose …the shape of the nose must be visible

Blur skin
As you can see a part of the face is blured and one not….After you will finish with the skin than you will have to Liquify the mouth once more to obtain a better shape with more defined lips and cover the teeth; than with blur tool soften the skin of the mouth.
Stay tuned for the second part of this tutorial!

I was just looking for information about this when I came upon your post. I’m only dropping by to say that I definitely liked seeing this post, it’s really well written. Are you planning toblog more on this? It seems like there is more depth here for future posts.
