Bollywood Poster

Hello!

Lets do something nice today a poster for a coproduction Bollywood - Hollywood movie.
We need of course two actors…i choose Aishwarya Rai from Bollywood and Brad Pitt from Hollywood.

Aishwarya Rai

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt

First we have two layers…Rai and Brad. You really have to make the two actors the same size…and place Brad a little higher than Aishwarya to look taller.

Go to Rai Layer and start adjusting this photo:
- Go to Filter - Liquify - Forward Warp Tool and adjust Aishwarya’s brest to look a little bigger, make the waist thiner and adjust the shape of the arm.
- Select the eyes and make it greener with Image - Adjustments - Color Balance
- with Blur Tool adjust the skin to look softer
- with Burn Tool give contrast to the mouth, cheeks, hair
- with the Clone Stamp Tool hide the unnecessary hair from the face, neck, shoulder
- with the same Clone Stamp Tool give volume to the top of the hair and head.
- with the Smudge Tool make the background uniform
- go to Image - Adjustments - Color Balance and do the following settings
* Shadows: 51; 0; -14
* Midtones: 77; 0; -49
* Highlights: 52; 0; -17
- with the Burn Tool , burn the areas that you want; for example the shape of the hair, some parts of the hair, the cheeks, etc

Go to Brad Layer and place it behind Rai Layer….
- adjust Brad skin, hair etc…with the same methods presented earlier
- adjust the backgroud so it fits with Rai Layer.
- go to Image - Adjustments - Color Balance and make this layer look exactly like the one before

Now merge the two layers and name it LayerA. With Blur, Smudge, Clone Stamp and Burn tools make the differences between the two pictures disapear.

Duplicate this layer and call it LayerB. Choose the Foreground color black and Background color orange. Go to Filter - Artistic - Poster Edges Ok…Choose the Blending Options Screen 100 %.

OK now i am really tired :) Lets continue….Take the Burn Tool and adjust a little bit the LayerA

Now we need 4 text layers:
1. Aishwarya Rai (Size 36, Font Bremen Bd BT)
2. Brad Pitt (Size 36, Font Bremen Bd BT)
3. Bollywood & Hollywood (Size 24, Font Bremen Bd BT)
4. coproduction (Size 18, Font Times New Roman)
For these 4 layers do the following settings:
Blending Options:
1. Drop Shadow

The place for those 4 texts is shown in the final result photo.
No create a new layer and call it Lous. The picture for this layer is:
lotus-flower-from-indian-lake
Delete the flower background. Go to Image - Adjustments - Brightness/Contrast (contrast: 20) and than burn the flower in the shadow areas for a cooler effect.

Create yet another layer and call it Magic Layer.
Activate the brush tool en press F5 to open the brushes palette.
Click on Brush tip size:

Shape Dynamics:

Scattering:

brush2

Now choose red and than yellow color and click many time the background to give a spray effect…if you know another method feel free to used….play also with different tones of red/yellow and different opacity.

Now i took the Brush Tool and with different sizes and opacities i’ve made little magic circles. The tehnique is this: size 4
- opacity 70%; size 8 - opacity 50%; size 20 - opacity 30%.

Now create another layer Background and place it behind all the others. Draw a square like in the picture below whatever color u like (i choose orange…put 66 % opacity and than burn it a little). The idea is to look like a paper.
Finally the result! If it wasn’t enough for you you can merge all the layers and add a Filter.
